Summary
This document contains the fault codes to trouble shoot MIL ON, Exhaust Flap Fault issues. The new Generation III TDI engines have an exhaust flap that is welded into the exhaust pipe assembly. If faults for the flap electronics are stored, it is not necessary to replace the complete pipe. Replacement electronics components are available.
