Technical Bulletin (Update Programming - MIL ON, DTC P00AF Stored in ECM Fault Memory):
Software diagnosis fault causes P00AF to set, commonly when operated in areas with high altitude. MIL on P00AF Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control "A" Module Performance is an diagnostic issue stored in ECM. The production solution to this issue was a Revised ECM software already implemented in production. This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
