When I speak to the manager he acknowledges my worries but minimizes the risks. If they explode my daughter or I could be killed. I don't believe that the risks are minimal. I do believe that there is something more that VW can do, other than offering to give me more on a trade in. When they admit that many of the cars on their lots have the same dangerous problem. The NHTSA web site says what the fix is-why can't they fix this problem? We had no idea our airbags were not safe and under a recall. We were told they can not re-sell this car and we basically can only receive wholesale value for it.
