System: Infotainment touch screen goes blank. System resets after a period of time. Safety: Unable to see rearview camera, make adjustments, and/or follow navigation prompts while screen is blank. Dealer: Dealer says there isn't a fix. Infotainment has been updated to the latest firmware.

While stop at red light on 2 occasions, the car goes into the auto stop start feature. The light turns green and I depress the accelerator to start to drive and nothing happens. I frantically try to determine what's going on my, shifter is in Drive and nothing. I press ignition to start and it states car in drive. Shift car to park and car starts. This all occurred after VW did Campaign #24IR. This is dangerous since if people don't realize your not moving they can rear end you or go backwards on a hill.

The start/stop system error. I have taken the vehicle in and every time I-??ve been told there is nothing they can do to fix it, only annotate the codes. The first incident I had been driving for about 10 minutes and was on the highway and had to slow down. When attempting to accelerate past 50 mph I could not. Multiple incidents have occurred since each has been on city streets. It makes the car stutter to accelerate off at all. This has happened multiple times leaving my neighborhood. This could cause me to be t-boned if it stalls while traffic is high. The issue cannot be reproduced by the VW dealership as shutting off the engine and starting it again corrects the issue temporarily. Until you do so the vehicle will not accelerate properly. Only the dealership has inspected. The check engine light comes on until you restart the vehicle then goes away.

While 19 year old daughter was at highway speed on interstate (speed limit 65 mph) vehicle suddenly stalled while in heavy traffic with epc and check engine light coming on. Happened twice in last 2 days. Called VW Corporate and filed open case and had them check vin for recalls and asked them if this was a known problem. Was told vin is up to date re recalls and TSB's despite finding conflicting information online. Vehicle will be in dealer tomorrow to attempt duplication of issue/read stored codes, and try to repair. Unsafe vehicle and never would have leased it had I known of the numerous issues with this vehicle and know stop sale order by VW to dealers late 2021. Feel deceived with long business dealings with VW and dealership.

The infotainment system on this vehicle does not always turn on when the vehicle is started and has stayed off for long durations of time from 2 minutes to an entire day of driving. This means the backup camera does not function nor does Bluetooth. I have brought it back to the dealership multiple times only to be told it just needs a software update. Most recently I had it serviced Feb 17th 2022 for a software update and the issue is still on going. I drove for 20 minutes without the infotainment system turning on.

MIB infotainment system blanks out, simultaneously sending error code to driver center console rendering it useless. Key functions are therefore inoperable or inaccessible, including (but not limited to) TPMS monitoring / alert warning, rear view camera display, and potentially a host of other safety and advanced driver assist functions.

Periodically the MIB infotainment screen blacks out; this in turn places a warning error in the driver center console screen. While this occurs, nothing else can be accessed or displayed in the center console screen. This creates a potentially dangerous situation as it can lead to confusion on a variety of things (example: Is cruise control still engaged?). It can also deprive the driver of key safety information (example: If one or more tires experiences a loss of pressure, the driver will not be warned). Furthermore, if the driver is reliant on Navigation and is driving under stressful and adverse weather conditions, this could create panic and result in a collision. VW has no fix for the issue currently and is releasing the vehicle back to me, even though I have stated my safety concerns.

The vehicle drives well and the problems surface without any prior indication or warning. The PROBLEM: while driving the vehicle slows down to about 10-15 mph. when I try to press the gas pedal, the vehicle does not increase speed. In addition there is a loud sound coming from the engine. also, there is a grating/vibration as if one drives on a gravel road. The service light shows up in red, and the "+" sign next to "D" shows red: I use the "D" to drive and not the overdrive. The gear lever does not release as it is stuck. My wife and I feel very alarmed because the cars behind are braking and blowing their horns. I managed to slowly drive off the main road to the nearest parking and turned off the ignition. When I turned on the engine again I was able to continue. I have been calling for an appointment to correct the problem but have not been able to get an appointment as of date. I am scared to drive the vehicle. I am having it towed to the dealership. I leased the vehicle on 6/3/21. The problem first occurred on 6/18/21. It occurred again on 9/15/21, and 9/17/21

When I depress the accelerator, the car jumps ahead or stalls. I took this to the local dealership and was told this car is on a do not sell list- 1 day after purchase. They, along with VW customer care has advised against driving the vehicle and encouraged it be towed to a dealership. This is my only vehicle and without it I have no transportation. They are unable to provide alternate transportation. I have been working with VW customer care.
