— A 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer S recall involves nearly 4,700 electric vehicles because of headlight problems.
Fiat Chrysler says the Jeep Wagoneer S vertical aim adjustment for the headlights is not accessible, and the headlight horizontal aim adjustment is not covered as intended. This means the headlights may not be able to be adjusted properly.
According to federal safety standards, each headlight "must be installed [...] with a mounting and aiming mechanism [...] accessible for those purposes without removal of any vehicle parts, except for protective covers removable without the use of tools."
Additionally, a "visually/optically aimable headlamp that has a lower beam must not have a horizontal adjustment mechanism...."
A Jeep driver may not see the road as intended and oncoming drivers may be affected by headlight glare at night.
About 623 Jeep Wagoneer S vehicles are recalled in Canada.
Jeep Wagoneer S headlight recall letters are expected to be mailed May 9, 2025. Dealers will remove the plugs from the vertical aim and install plugs on the horizontal aim for the headlights.
Jeep Wagoneer S owners with questions should call 800-853-1403 and refer to headlight recall number 23C.
