— Nearly 12,000 Ram 1500 trucks are recalled due to problems with the instrument panel software and tire inflation information.
The recalled 2025 Ram 1500 trucks may show incorrect tire inflation pressure messages to drivers. Those messages appear on the instrument panels.
According to FCA:
"An incorrect "Inflate to: 50" psi message, instead of the correct recommended inflation pressure, resulting from a low tire pressure condition displays in the IPC. Customers following this message could cause a tire to be inflated beyond the maximum pressure limit in some tire configurations."
As of March 28, FCA was aware of 15 warranty claims, 23 field reports and two other service records.
The Canadian recall involves 1,524 Ram 1500 trucks.
Ram 1500 recall letters should be mailed May 8, 2025. Dealers will update the instrument panel software.
Owners of 2025 Ram 1500 trucks can call 800-853-1403 and refer to recall number 30C.
