RSX Type S

  • Manual transmission
  • 17,000 miles

In the trunk of my 2004 RSX Type S there were numerous plastic pieces that were used for handles or latches or other random things. They were made to fit into the carpet that was placed over the cars metal, but when i purchased this car used, 2 years old, all the plastic pieces had already fallen off or broken off. I can see where the guy before me tried glueing them back into place, but it didn't work out that well. It was annoying because i always had plastic pieces floating around in my trunk, or open holes in the carpet of the trunk. Also, the metal bolts that hold the spoiler onto the trunk of the car ALWAYS came loose. It was so annoying, almost everytime i opened the trunk, the bolts would fall out of the car. One actually fell into the car some how, so when i was driving you could hear it rolling around but you couldn't get at it. Also, in the car there is a manual roof crank that is covered by a plastic protect piece. This piece of plastic does not stay in place ever. It would always fall out and i would put it back. When it wasn't in place it just looked ugly because was just a hole in the roof. There are the only issues i had with the RSX, and i mean, common, its not that bad at all. If this is the worst of the problems, its a good car. I never had any mechanical issues and so i bought another one.
