The contact stated that NHTSA campaign id number: 08V091000, steering: Hydraulic power assists: Hose, piping, and connections repair was performed; however, after the hose was replaced the power steering pump failed. The dealer stated that there were no recalls or warranties on the pump. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 56,000.
