When driving randomly sign shows up for "check engine oil". sign's shows up with pressing brake, making turns, going over speed-bumps. Sign will disappear but will come on, after anyone of the above has occurred. This happens on local roads, highways, inner city, and speed bumps.

The car door locks, or door lock actuators, have failed multiple times ( each door at least twice) in five years. The car is now eight years old and all the actuators have failed again. The safety issue arises when the door should automatically lock after reaching 10mph, but they do not due to actuators failing to lock door. This could cause the doors to open if involved in crash. I am concerned with this safety issue as it could also allow unwanted people from entering my vehicle at any given time. Another issue is it is possible to be locked out of the vehicle if all of the actuators fail at the same time, as it requires manual activation of locks from the inside of the vehicle. The failures have been documented while the car was under warranty with Acura. I know of other Tsx owners having the same issue. I have asked to have this issue repaired from Acura and they have declined the repair, stating the vehicle is no longer under warranty, even though their service representatives have acknowledged the actuators are an issue.

Both rear main brake lights have failed. Fuse replaced and lightbulbs still does not work. Internet seems to point to wiring under the drivers side, before the fusebox. Safety issue. The third brake light does work.

This Tsx has had three different door lock actuators go out. Passenger door at 30K mikes, driver door at 45K miles and rear passenger door at 75K miles. While the first two were under warranty the last one isn't and costs $460 for the Acura dealer to fix the problem. Seems this should be a recall item as the car is in otherwise perfect condition. Multiple owners on Acura message boards complain of the same problem.
