6/16/2022 Casually driven car, ~45k miles. Mostly city driving with the occasional sprinkle of 200 mile road trips.

I was making a left turn at an intersection when an error message displayed on my dash indicating that the steering had malfunctioned + stop vehicle.

I had to have the car brought into the dealer, where they just got done with inspection. Two line items received...

Cause: Steering Wheel Malfunction Illuminated Correction: Power Steering rack with integrated control module (J500), Tie Rod Ends, Control Module Coding and Adaptation ~$4082.59 estimate + tax.

Cause: Alignment needed after steering rack replacement Correction: 4 Wheel Alignment ~$199.95 estimate + tax.

Currently Audi is sending an inspector within the next couple of days.
