A5 Convertible 2.0L Turbo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

Driving along on a gorgeous Saturday morning with the roof down, coming up to a red light, gently push the brake pedal to slow down - it doesn't respond. It feels like I'm pushing against a brick wall, but getting no braking. Total system failure! Put the car into neutral, tried the emergency brake, nothing. Slap on hazards, hit the horn to warn other drivers and grind the transmission into park to stop the car.

Had it towed into the service center; 48 hours later, they informed me that the vacuum pipe had split. Two weeks after they had to replace the whole piston set. And I have maintained this car religiously, only at the dealer, only use the oil they recommended - and sold me. I have NO faith in the integrity of this car. #FAIL AUDI!!!
