Wiper blades not functional in wintry conditions. Blade does not remove snow and thus freezes and becomes a layer of ice. Can't see. Very dangerous. Defroster melts the snow however the oem blade isn't strong enough to remove & thus more ice. No winter blades are available as the manufacturer - Audi- has redesigned the blade connection.
