I'm trying to prevent kids getting accidently locked in Audi Q7's due to a common defect in the Advanced Key feature. This is deadly serious. See AudiQ7AdvancedKeyClassAction.com.

Audi should redesign their automatic lock feature in their cars. Accidentally locked kids in the cars when I shut the doors with my keys in the purse in the car. Good thing my 3 year old was able to reach the door handle and open the doors. We have an Infinity FX35 that can detect when the keys are in the car and sound a cautionary beep when you try to shut the door. It would also disable the locking feature when the key is in the car. Why can't Audi upgrade or redesign their system to do the same. Very unsafe especially when you have kids.
