128 I N20

  • Automatic transmission
  • 103,573 miles

LIGHT CAME ON WHILE DRIVING ON 175, PULLED OFF NEXT EXIT, VEHICLE DIED ON ROAD. JUST HAD OIL CHECKED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OR SO AT BMW DEALERSHIP. BROUGHT VEHICLE IN REGULARLY TO BMW AND DID MAINTENANCE AS THEY SUGGESTED. HAD BOUGHT EXTENDED WARRANTY WHICH STOPPED AUGUST 2018. TOWED INTO BMW, TOLD THE TIMING CHAIN HAD ELONGATED, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE VALVES HAVE BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO THE TIMING JUMPING AND SUGGESTED REPLACING ENGINE FOR $14,639.32.
