Received a letter regarding fatal NADI airbag issue & offered $3k buyback. I had just invested $3,400 into the vehicle a couple of weeks prior. BMW took this into consideration & offered $4k + $1,500 toward a new BMW. Final offer was $6,500 & $1,500 toward new or used BMW. The vehicle is not safe to drive & a fix is not available for 6-12 months. Disappointing that I've owned the vehicle for 15 years & have it in top form now only to receive this letter from BMW & that it's likely best to send it to the scrap yard.
