the odometer reading does not come up when the car turns on. The problem lies with a resistor in the display that ends up coming off the board. You can either solder the resister back on to the back of the board, or replace the whole board.

well all of a sudden, as I was driving to work, the odometer and gear indicator screen quit working which is pretty f'n stupid considering the car only has 189,000 km on it. my last car had over 4thousand kms and the only thing wrong with it was the fact you could see through the door. I'm never buying another Buick/GM piece of sh@# car ever again what a waste of money.

odometer not readable

About a year ago or so the odometer and the area that reads P/R/N/D/3/2/1 would go off intermittently. Now, since about the beginning of this year now it doesn't show at all. I am due for emissions testing and they will not do it until this is fixed. If it's an easy fix, or something low cost, that would be great, as this car is 10 years old!
