While driving to Los Angeles, my car was behaving very strange. I was driving for work to do an inspection on a house. After I got off the freeway, I was driving down the street to the house. I was about two blocks away and I heard something drop underneath the car. The entire driveshaft / manifold fell from the front of the car. I had never ever seen or heard of anything like this happening. My car is a 4 wheel drive. I do not go off roading in the car - it is a Buick Enclave. I do not drive roughly. I have only driven the car on the freeway and streets. Why would a driveshaft / manifold fall. I had the car towed and even the dealership could not believe that this happened. I wrote to GM for assistance because this should never happen. They basically told me to go suck eggs. No help and it was not their problem. I have had nothing but issues with this 2008 Buick Enclave. I love the car and it is so comfortable that I hate to get rid of it, but it is not worth all the issues. 1) it rains inside 2) transmission had to be replace 3) the side mirrors have been replaced and they don't work correctly 4) radio has been replaced twice 5) power steering has been fixed and replaced twice, 6) brake issues with computer. This car has been a complete nightmare. DO NOT BUY A BUICK ENCLAVE OR ANY GM PRODUCT
