Enclave CXL 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,025 miles

This was discovered early by myself. Otherwise it would have led to more serious mechanical issues. A quality Luxury vehicle should not have these types of problems. I lost use of vehicle while repaired and it was a significant inconvenience to bring car in, wait for repairs to be done and return to get my vehicle.

Enclave LX V6

The sound is very annoying. Not sure if it will get to the point where I can't operate the steering wheel. When we first took it in for oil change the mechanic guessed at it being the power steering pump. Said he would check it for sure when we changed the oil the next time. They did not change the oil the second time so I called for him to check it out. When he checked it out he said he needed to replace the pump. They ordered the pump, I waited a week he never called so I called. I had to go out of town so I called and asked if it would be alright to drive to Jacksonville and he said yes. We drove to Jacksonville and had to have the car towed in because it was running hot which turned out to be it had a leaking water pump that had to be replaced and the car is only 3 yrs old.

• 1/15/11 Since the day of purchase the steering wheel makes a strange squeaky noise

and the vehicle has an unusual smell (similar to wet dog). The salesman (Terry Elsworth from Eagle Buick GMC) agreed to replace the missing back row control panel for the AC/Music, repair numerous dings, detail the vehicle, fill with gas, and repair the AC.

o 3 visits to dealership within 2 months to have dings repaired (some dings still remain)

o returned the vehicle 5 times from date of purchase 1/11 until 10/11 to have the AC repaired however Eagle would only refill the Freon and never fixed the existing condition (replace leaking AC parts) as promised. (each time it was weeks that we would go-because of their service schedule-without AC in the hot Florida summer)

o It took approximately 2+ months to receive the back row control panel for the AC/Music, which my husband had to replace and still does not work properly.

o Never received detailing or gas fill-up for vehicle nor reimbursement for vehicles that we gassed when using a loaner car
