We bought this car new and have had several problems with it. This problem is the passenger presence sensor.

We have complained about this several times and the one time they looked at it, they said a firmware update should take care of it. Well, it didn't. It would work for a few months then quit. Now it finally quit all together.

I went back to the dealer and told them that this has been an ongoing problem and I thought that it should be taken care of on their dime. I said that this is a safety issue and Buick should take care of it. They told me that Ohio doesn't have safety checks so therefore they don't have to. That pissed me off so I told them I would just take the car and leave. I called Buick and they said that they have never heard of that but it was between me and the dealer and said sorry. I will never buy GM again, time for Toyota.
