problem #1

LaCrosse Touring V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,000 miles

2012 Lacrosse Touring, just over 13,000. miles. When driving the vehicle (Not Sport Mode) over bumpy roads or surface there is a rattle noise that can be heard from the front end of the vehicle. When I shift to Sport Mode the noise is dampen. I suspect something with the front struts, but no way of proving this.

I have taken it to a Buick Dealer to have it tested and they say they cannot duplicate the problem and nothing is wrong with the vehicle. Many will say my first mistake was to buy a Buick. However, my mistake I didn't take a Buick mechanic on a test drive to prove the noise is not my imagination, I left the vehicle at the shop with trust they would test the vehicle for noise. To make things more annoying from the service center, they recommended that I should have a fuel-injection cleaning process performed for around $200.00.

Any and all suggestion to isolate and fix the problem is appreciated. Thanks
