The car was gradually accelerating up to 40 mph without applying the gas pedal. By pulling the pedal back several times the car would return to normal idle. A new throttle position sensor was installed. Now the car shudders and shakes badly on start up but returns to normal after a short run. This happens first thing in the morning and after the car is not driven for a number of hours. Can this be a wrong setting of the installed Sensor?
