My dashboard is raising up that I am afraid it will bock my sight. I have noice other buicks doing the same thing. I have never had any other cars to do this and I have lived in florida for 62 years.

There should be a recall on them. It is really bad and it looks bad against the Buick Company. They should be ashame of their self and get them fixed. I have always loved my Buicks but this is causing me to change my veiw on them!

Hello ya'all,

ALL GM products, including the Cad-doo, havethe same exact problem. The dash on a Buick buckles at the 'Nacent' curve above the instrument cluster. Cad-doos, at the left and right hand sides, fold up.

GM produced, or their supplier, a lousy product. Let's start a 'class action' lawsuit and sue them into tomorrow.

Solution 1 You might try going to the DEALER, any will do. If the DEALER has a good relationship, you might be able to 'SHAME' them into a new dash with revised material. Pray to God that it is not manufacctured by the Chinese, because they may include formaldehyde which will make to mad. Remember 'Alice in Wonderland'? The Mad Hatters wer mad because they used formaldehyde to 'BLOCK' the old English tall hats. Repeated exposure to this toxic chemical and VOC made them crazy as hell.

Solution 2 Threaten to call the zone with a class action lawsuit. This may work, but don't rank, just tell them of the pending class action lawsuit and voila, you may get a new dash, free or heavily discounted. They know the dashboards were crap. MAKE THEM PAY!

Solution 3 J.C. Whitney usta sell a PLASTIC dash overlay for <$50. You have to buy a 99 cent can of Krylon paint and the passenger air bag may be covered up, but you will live. J.C. only has carpeted dash covers. Buy one of these, use a box cutter to excise the warpage and glue that mess down. It will cut down on dash glare if your are stoopid enough to use that oh-so-shiney crap, silicone, to slick down your dash, 'Slick'.
