Fuel Pump has failed/replaced for the 4th time (second time documentation found dated 10/22/12.)

Vehicle bought new (one owner-me) . I have replaced more parts (excluding routine maintenance items) on this vehicle than any previously owned car/truck in my 50+ years of driving. Vehicle routinely garaged & fuel tank rarely below 1/4 tank (told low fuel level being blame for failures).

1. First failure was following refueling/failed to restart pushed away from pumps, restarted after an hour. Dealership could not verify $800 fuel pump replacement would correct problem. Research later indicated fuel pump most likely the problem, ordered and replaced pump myself (2007 or 2008 $350 - $400)

2. Second failure was fueling enroute to Florida, would not restart, slept in car, called local dealer to tow in next morning. Towed to dealership; following offload, engine started (unable to determine problem). Did not shut off engine on return trip home even when fueling. Ordered second replacement pump/replaced myself (10/22/12 shown on pump order slip $350 - $400)..

3. Third time stopped for traffic light, engine quit running & would not restart. Pushed into near-by business to get off four lane roadway after dark. Towed to repair shop following morning; pump replaced by auto repair shop 12/31/12 mileage 36948 - $782.

4. Fourth time drove from home to tire store ( 5 miles ) in town to bring neighbor back home while their vehicle being serviced. Vehicle failed to restart. Towed to repair shop used for third pump replacement believing pump to have lifetime warranty as stated with 3rd pump. Pump failure confirmed; warranty not lifetime. Pump replaced with discount on 5/3/17 mileage 54544 - $675

Vehicle replacement or Dynamite shoved in tailpipe may be the better solution to this problem
