Vehicle showed no signs of failure until it happened. Vehicle would not move until it sat for a couple minutes, then it would only move a few yards and quit again. Loud whining sound could be heard from the engine when the tow truck picked up the car. Service department found several metal shavings in the transmission pan and filter.
