The contact owns a 2010 Buick Lucerne. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was examined by an independent mechanic who replaced the fuel pump, but the failure continued. Upon inspection, it was discovered that one of the fuses in the fuse box had burned out. The fuse was replaced, but it was later discovered that the fuse and fuse box had melted. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was not notified. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.
