I bought this car a year ago. Today I tried to crank the car while sitting in my yard a big boom happened and the car engine caught on fire. The plastic covering melted off the engine as well as some of the back part of the engine it was engulfed in flames. The contact owns a 2001 Buick Regal. The contact stated that water leaks onto the floorboard and the front passenger seat during inclement weather. When the water enters the vehicle, it saturates the entire floor. The vehicle has not been taken to the dealer to determine the cause of failure. The failure mileage was 60,000 and current mileage was 64,400.
