Regal GS

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

Many GM owners are apparently having this problem. Walk outside in the morning, or back from the store on a shopping trip and the trunk is wide open. Do I need to say more?

In my case, nothing has ever been stolen, but the last time (last week) it happened, it was pouring rain and soaked everything in the trunk.

I don't carry keys in my pocket, it is only the keyfob.

Very bad problem to have. I haven't taken it to the dealer because I've read all about the trials everyone has gone through with this problem. I have NO faith whatsoever that they will do anything other than waste my time.

key fob trunk release too touchy, inadvertent opening

This has been a problem in previous year Buicks. Replace the KR95B Rear Compartment Lid Unlatch Relay with a “Two Shot Relay” (part number 19119267).
