Verano Leather I-4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

We bought the car new in 2013. I drove it back and forth to work so did not have a passenger in the passenger seat very often. After some short trips with family, the service air bag light began to come on.

We took it into the shop first time it happened. (Not sure of the date) We were told it was fixed and found out a short time later it was not fixed.

We complained numerous times about it as it continued to be a problem. Now the service light is coming on more frequently and it is making me very nervous when driving. We finally had it back in the shop. They told us they could fix it but it will cost $927.93. I feel this has been an existing problem and is a safety hazard. I called Buick customer service and was told they would get back with me.

After several phone calls someone finally told me someone in upper management would call me. Again it was just a run around. I had told them they could call me at work or at home. After several days they finally called my husband and said the car was too old and out of warranty. The car only has around 50,000 miles on it. I don't feel it is an old car! In fact it has had very good care and looks great, I still get a lot of compliments on it. All we really wanted was some help with the parts, since we felt it had been an existing problem from the very beginning. The service air bag light still comes on when someone is setting in the passenger seat!! Thank you for letting me complain! DONE

The service airbags light and dinging sound is on in my car. I went to the dealer that I purchased the car from and they want $89.oo to check what the problem is and I have know idea what they want to charge me to fix it. This is ridiculous, 12000 miles out of warranty and I'm having air bag problems. I have used Rick Mathews for all of my maintenance and purchased it there. I paid cash for the car--I quess that was a mistake with gmc. I feel they are abusing a senior--Grammy. I WOULD PROBABLY BE READY TO PURCHASE A NEW CAR IN ANOTHER YEAR-BUT=IT DEFINETLY WON'T BE A BUICK
