problem #1

May 012019

Verano Limited 4 Cal

  • Automatic transmission
  • 20,400 miles

The car only has 20,400 miles on it and the side detection monitoring system no longer works. Buick dealer claims this is a fairly common problem because of winter conditions in the northeast. However, my other car is a year older and has over 75000 miles on it and has never has a problem with the side detection system. Note the car is not driven for 3 months in the winter!

I think it is just poor design by Buick, that the modules are exposed to the elements. Last Buick for me! Parts cost alone is over $850.00. Total cost to fix was $1338.00 !!!!!
