The 2003 CTS trunk is insanely heavy and does not stay open in place very well. Over the years it has come down on my head/back more times than I can count. It is heavy enough to knock someone unconscious or give a concussion I'm sure. It is also very hard to open due to its weight, so if you have anything else in your arms you must put it down on the ground first. Also, it's very hard to shut without SLAMMING due to it's weight.
