I was simply driving "normally" and a "clunk" was heard from the rear of the car. The vehicle was not drivable. It had to be put on a flat bed truck and taken to the dealer. The right hand half shaft broke it two pieces and destroyed the differential in the process.

Shifting the vehicle from 1st gear to second gear and upon releasing the clutch there is a loud bang. Half shaft broken. This is the second time the rar end of one of my Cts-V's has broken.
