Had vehicle into shop for this issue several times. GM won't touch it or comment unless I am willing to pay $95 evaluation fee.
Took to local auto repair. shop. They replaced seat heater module. Problem came back again. Usually occurs when there is excess moisture in air. Can shut it off during summer and it often comes back on several times before finally staying off.
