The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Escalade. While driving 65 mph, rear passenger seat became hot and caught on fire. The contact was able to pull over and extinguish the fire. There were no injuries. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was not destroyed, only the seat. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 232,000.

Bad lease on 2004 Cadillac Escalade customer states that the car was damaged at purchase and was not told and wants a reimbursement* the consumer and his wife complained of the poorly designed leather seats. The seats were frayed. The cd P layer had to be replaced because it didn't recognize the discs. The consumer also complained about the paint peeling. The driver side door mirror light was inoperative. The dealer replaced the bulb. (lawyer wrote in on behalf of complaints).
