My husband purchased my vehicle in October, 2006. Within 2 months it was returned to the service department of the dealer. The chrome handle had started peeling on the driver side, the rear window seal was leaking whenever it would rain and the check engine light was on. The leak was repaired, I was told that the engine light was on because we took the factory wheels off and they would call us when the handle came in. That never happened. Toward the middle of 2008 the following messages started showing up. Traction control on and power to engine reduced causing my vehicle to stop in traffic suddenly this caused cars to swerve around me to prevent impact. The day in question I had just picked my [xxx] old daughter up from her audition. We were merging onto I-75 when I heard a loud sound come from the rear of the vehicle. My vehicle immediately spun out of control heading for the oncoming cars, big rigs and trucks. I missed the cement wall by the grace of god and landed in a snow embankment. The timing chains and rear axle shaft were replaced and that did not help. Within 24 hours the vehicle was doing the same thing shutting power down to the engine and I had to return it to the dealer. They finally replaced the door handle after finding out that it had cut my finger causing me to receive 3 stitches. I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle and would like for GM to step up and take it back without penalty. If I wanted the headache of being in and out of someone's service center I would have purchased a used vehicle or what they call a hoopty.
