The contact owns a 2017 Cadillac XT5. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds over bumps in the roadway, there was an abnormal squeaking sound detected from the front end. There was an abnormal squeaking and growling noise detected from the driver's and passenger's seats. The driver's seat appeared to have a hole. The traction control warning light was illuminated. Additionally, there was a vibration in the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken several times to integrity Cadillac (6025 international dr, chattanooga, tn 37421, (423) 954-7632) and diagnosed that the passenger's seat and struts needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not covered under warranty. The failure mileage was 5,500.

When taking turns, either left for right, the driver seat makes clicking noises and there is a feel of the seat shifting to the side. This is very prevalent when going thru round abouts. At times when the vehicle is parked and driver reaching to close driver door the same problem is apparent.

The contact owns a 2017 Cadillac XT5. While driving approximately 20 mph, the driver's seat made a snapping and crackling noise. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the seat frame was replaced; however the failure recurred. In addition the contact stated that the rear passenger wheel made a knocking noise when the vehicle drove over a bump or making turns. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3,800. Updated 02/14/17
