The key fob for the XTS 2013 is faulty. I have lost my key twice. It simply pops off the key and key chain and you cannot even hear it (very light fob). It cost my $ 290.00 to replace the first one, and only after one week the new one disappeared off the key ring as well. The key fobs are defective, and a new design that is more functional and less easy to lose must be developed.
I actually see that the 2016 rental car that Cadillac gave me has a new FOB, so I'm quite certain I was not the first to lose the FOB.
