Avalanche 4WD 8-cyl

The problem in question is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche. There are problems with water getting into the passenger area, soaking the floor. This constant water causes the air bag sensor to corrode. The sensor is located on the floor under the drivers seat. I have had the sensor replaced twice. This will continue to happen for as long as the Avalanche is prone to this problem. If the sensor becomes faulty and causes the truck not to deploy or possibly deploy accidentally there could be damages, injuries and possible loss of life.
