Around the first of December(28 months after buying truck)my Onstar quit working. I was not aware of it but I noticed a red light had come on, on the mirror. A couple of days later I tried to use the phone to make a call and was told it was unavailable. Now when I open a door Onstar tells the phone is not available. It is not even supposed to be available without the power being on. It also says it is not available when I crank the truck. The dealer told me it needs a new vci module and would cost $395.00 plus labor to fix.
