I was told by a GM dealer how my vehicle is rusted excessively with the undercarriage and the quarter sills that have a rust through hole about 3 inches. I've opened a case with GM and they stated its out of warranty. I don't know how GM gets away with this repair and Toyota had to buyback vehicle or do frame replacements

Avalanche

The lock on the tailgate became difficult to lock. Then, a week later while driving 35 mph down a city street, the tailgate dropped open. When I tried closing it, the left side would not latch. The tailgate handle was replaced a week later. This was the second time this part was replaced. This same thing happened in 2008 when it was still under warranty.
