The contact owns 2009 Chevrolet Aveo. The contact stated that there was an abnormal loud noise coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was advised that the tires were prematurely worn and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired on three occasions but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,000 and the current mileage was 50,000. The VIN was not available.

Front tires wear unevenly, wearing on the outside edge. Maroone Chevrolet reports trtead depth of 5/32 inch on inner edge, 4/32 inch on the outter edge; but denies responsibility. Other owners have reported the same complaint.

The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo. The contact stated the front tires were replaced four times. The dealer advised the failure was due to the contact driving aggressively. The tires were replaced with 8,621 miles. The contact stated all four tires needed replacing at 15,018 miles. The contact believed that the failure was caused by the front suspension yet when contacting the manufacturer, the contact was advised that the tires were wearing as they were designed. The contact stated the tires that were initially placed on the vehicle stated a life span of 45,000 miles. The failure mileage was 6,000 and the current mileage was 24,000. Updated 11/9/10 the consumer stated the tires wore out prematurely and all four tires had to be replaced. Updated 11/16/10
