1995 Chevrolet trailblazer. The consumer states the insurance adjuster told him the cable that holds the spare tire underneath the vehicle broke. When it broke the tire bounced on the road and landed in the weeds. The consumer was trying to have this fixed. The consumer has not contacted the manufacturer about the problem.

This vehicle has different size tires. The two front tires are of a different size than the two in the rear. This could cause damage to the power train on 4- wheel drive vehicles. There is a letter from the manufacturer that states this. The dealer has been contacted.

While driving at 55 mph the defective tire separated from the wheel, causing a frontal impact in which the driver's airbag did not deploy. The rear driver's side defective seatbelt did not protect the css, causing the css to be thrown to the back of the vehicle.
