I have an issue with my new Blazer, in that the owner's manual says that you cannot place a child safety seat in the center back position. Had I known, I would've never bought this vehicle. I have tried to find out what the issue is and have received numerous different answers from Chevy's customer service, the most obnoxious being that the center seat belt isn't that strong so they don't want kids to use it. Adults can use it though because they can brace themselves if it breaks. I'd like to know why I can't keep the child seat in the center, why Chevy would produce a car that doesn't allow a child safety seat to go in the safest position, and who I can report their horrendous customer service folks to. Would appreciate a response. Thanks.
