The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving 40 mph, the contact attempted to stop the vehicle and the ABS engaged. The contact had to apply more brake pressure in order to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the front hub wheel speed sensor needed to be replaced. There were no prior warnings. The current and failure mileages were 73,640. Updated 12-04-08 the dealer replaced the wheel speed sensors. Updated 12/10/08.
