After locking door with remote key doors do not lock correctly. Remote key has been replaced, but problem persists.

Power tailgate would come ajar while driving, and ajar light would not come on. Dealer has been notified, and was unable to correct problem. Feel free to provide any further information.

Within 3 days of purchasing this vehicle I realized that there was no indication that my doors were left ajar. There is a warning that the rear gate is ajar but not the doors. I have had many cars in my lifetime and this is the first that I didn't have this safety feature. I guess I assumed it was standard -- I am shocked that it is not....I feel very unsafe with my 8 year old children in the car. I often have to get out and verify that the doors are closed.
