Camaro 3.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

I purchased a 1995 Camaro with the 3.4. Ran very rough when I purchased it. The catalytic converter was plugged. I fixed that. 3 of the 6 fuel injectors where rusted and burst open pretty much so I replaced all 6 injectors, new spark plugs, 3 new ignition coils, new throttle position sensor and also replaced the lower intake manifold gasket because it was leaking a little oil. The kid that owned the car never maintained the car. It had 3 different types of spark plugs. I think 3 and 5 were OEM plugs. I did have to remove the push rods to install the new intake gasket. Yes, I checked the pushrods and they are all the same length. LOL. Got the car all back together and now the car will not start. If I remove the IAC or rubber vacuum T on the front of the upper intake the car starts but idles rough and I can hear a little rocker arm lash. I know I will have to adjust the lash more but why is the car only starting with a large vacuum leak? What am I overlooking? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Camaro 3.4L V6

I've done took it to the auto shop and they can't figure out why the first piston is not registering to start the car. Sometimes it will work fine then after you turn it off it won't start. It is pissing me off and I've done tried to fix the problem but could not. At first I thought it was the timing chain so i replaced that but it still is doing the same thing.
