I took my car to Caliber Collision to have some minor repair done on the rear left panel over the wheel. By the way, it was the company Geico recommended to take my car. The day I dropped it off, they also notices some hail damage. They asked me while they have the car, would I like for them to repair the hail damage also. I told them that would be great. They kept my car for about a week.

When I went back to pick up my car, the guy told me that out of the blue my car horn started blowing while it was in the shop. So... they took the fuse out so the horn would stop blowing. I didn't think much of it cause I thought it was just a fuse issue. I brought my car home, drove it to work that night and brought it home, and parked it for the rest of the week and drove my other car to work for the rest of the week.

On that Sunday, I decided to drive my car. When I got in it, the check engine light came on, the radio would not work, the turn signals would not work, the horn still did not work and it sent a message on onstar saying that my car was stolen. The next morning, I called caliber collision and they told me to bring my car back. I took my car back and they took my car to a Chevy dealer. They kept it for a week. They said my car was throwing 30 fault codes, and they could not get the trunk open. They could not figure out what was wrong.

Caliber collision took it back and got the trunk open. They found water damage in the trunk of my car, and found water around my sensors. So they called for a water test to find out where my car was leaking. That took another week, and they did not find a leak in my trunk. So now Caliber says they are not responsible for the water damage and where do I want my car towed to because they were done with it and the repairs they did had nothing to do with the water.

I had to have my car towed to another shop. They sent to another Chevy dealer. I had to file a water damage claim with my insurance to get my car worked on. Now, they found the sensor that had water damage but no signs of water, and since they have had it, my car has not leaked not the first time. They had to replace the harness and fuse panel and rewire my car because the wires were corroded from the water. This first happened on October 21, 2019, and I am still waiting on my car to be fixed due to where GM was on strike, they can't get the part to fix my car. They have no idea when this part is going to come in. The guy at the shop said it could be any day or it could be 3 months from now. I am so angry. My 2016 Camaro is just sitting in the shop waiting on a part, all due to my trunk leaking. I am not a happy camper.
