I was driving in late afternoon traffic on my way home from work. Engine light came on and engine started flooding and lost power. I had to exit off the highway and pull into the Walmart parking lot. White smoke was coming out of tailpipes and engine kept trying to die. We called dealership and had to have car towed to repair shop. This incident was very troubling due to it happening during rush hour traffic on major highway which could have caused an accident. Luckily I had an extended warranty that covered most of the repairs except for the catalytic converter which was not covered by the warranty. I had a problem with that due to the fact that it was a "bumper to bumper" warranty. The dealership told me that the warranty does not cover that part. I never really got a clear explanation as to why?
