Cavalier 2.2L

I know I've had more problems starting my car then what I sent in, but I cant remember the dates of them all, but this one just happened last Sunday. I went swimming to a place thats about 20 mins away (the other place for the classes was too, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?) and it was parked for several hours. Again, it wouldn't start for a bit, but it finally did. I wonder if it has to do with the recall that effects the wiring harness near the steering column/ignition?

Cavalier 2.2L

I was in a really bad section of town talking classes for a few weeks. The kind of place you don't want to have your car not working. I tried starting my car several times, it sounded like it was trying to start, but it wouldn't. I never held the key longer than 3 seconds or so (I heard thats bad ?) and usually it would turn over by then. I took the key out and waited (aka: prayed). I tried a few more times until finally it started, but it sounded really weird, like it was still not completely started (the engine sounded slow), and the whole car shook slowly with the engine for about 5 seconds, then it sounded normal and stopped shaking.

The engine starts every once in a while but dies right a away when it does. When it doesn't start, it makes a clicking noise. What can be wrong with my car?
