Cobalt 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,000 miles

when you try to eject cds they get stuck and you can hear the gears spinning trying to eject it sometimes you can hit the dash or use a key or knife to get it out but usually it goes back in and reads err. definitely irritating thought it might be only burnt cds but now its all of them

GM REPLACED THE CD PLAYER, ONLY TO HAVE IT DIE AGAIN WITHIN A FEW MONTHS! I was told it could be replaced while they fix the interior door handles (fabric was cut too small), but they did not have a solution for the fabric. By the time they had a solution for the fabric: i was told my waranty was expired (my km were over) and they no longer have to fix anything under waranty. So its 2010 and iv been driving with NO CD PLAYER working for 5 years!!! Whats there to do?

The dealership that sold me the car still refuses to give me the rebate cheque for $500 that head office (confirmed) mailed to my dealer for me: citing that they miscounted the $ when i paid for my car so i still owed on my car. They doctored the original sales receipt after the sale, refused to give me a copy of the doctored sales record then told me a week later all documents have been shreaded because they get rid of all records of sales within a few month of people buying cars. Complaints to GM and the dealership has fallen on deaf ears. GM has removed the dealership in question from their sales within the last year. But i still do not have the $500!! Or the fabric fixed: or the CD player fixed... nice huh?

Well I had the same problem with the CD player too .... Something I live with it is not bad just turn the engine off; open the doors close them reopen them the CD pops out and goes back in. I just bought a 2008 Cobalt hopefully GM has fixed the annoying problem.
