so yea, bought the car and within hours of havening it i started getting the locked message on radio. it would also give me an ERR message. I didn't care to much, just had to restart car, and it only would happen seconds after starting the car. but after about a year of stupid cobaltness my key got stuck in the ignition and shifter stuck in park, so when i got it towed to the dealership, i told them about the radio, they diagnosed it, and replaced it under warranty. well new radio does same thing.

I turned on the car and then pressed the radio button on. I heard the music for about 2 seconds, and then heard a beep. I looked down at the radio, and saw the word "Lock" written where the clock display normally is. I tried turning the radio on and off, but nothing would make it go away. I had to turn the car off and turn it back on to make the radio work again. This car seemed like such a great deal when I bought it a few months ago, I wish I had of read the reviews first, since mine also has had the key getting stuck in the ignition column problem.
